The soundscape begins with the creaking of a large metal door being dragged open. The flick of a switch follows and the buzz of light bulbs flaring on overhead travels into the distance, giving a scale to the setting. A blindfolded man is dragged into the empty warehouse and a chair screeches on the concrete floor as it is pulled up. The man is taped to the chair and his captor walks off into a distant part of the warehouse with his footsteps echoing into silence. Water drips from the roof and the sound of machinery hums in the distance. The man struggles with his binds desperately with no luck. The captor returns and liquid is poured all around and over the man as he grunts in desperation through his gag. The empty container is dropped to the floor and rattles into silence. The grinding strike of a match igniting ends the piece
